Games and Coasters


(July 6th, 10-4pm)

After a nice day off, I was back at work once again. I was expecting something pretty good (can you say "Tidal Force") after a day at FunSlides, but I got Wildmouse instead. Not a very interesting day, but I'll hit a few points of interest...

1)Why is it that we broke down 20 minutes after the ride opened? I still have absolutely no idea why. We were only down for about 5 minutes, but it was still extremely bizarre.

2)What the heck is up with Chaos? This thing has at least 3 breakdowns every single day. It's fun to watch because the people on the ride really freak out. After the cars start flipping, the ride will slowly stop spinning until the operators are forced to lower the boom. When the ride stops spinning the people start to freak. Hehehe....

3)Thunder got stuck on the lift! It was stuck up there for about 5 minutes (the time it takes for maintenance to manually restart the lift hill)

4)Wildmouse had a 1.5 hour line, even though it was a Friday. That's the busiest I've seen it on a "non-weekday". I'm sure it will have more on Saturday, but still... the queue was only 3 rungs of being filled!
